NANTONG DIARY PART 1

It took me three weeks after my return to start sorting out my travel photos. I just wrote a few paragraphs about my state of mind upon coming back and leaving my grandparents, but decided to erase everything and for once, follow the example of our American neighbours and simply give thanks.

So on this Thanksgiving day, I am grateful for my family and their unconditional love. I am grateful for my grandparents' health and the time we have together. I am thankful for my husband who compliments my cooking even when he has no idea what exactly he's eating. I am thankful for the English language which allows me to write a lot more cheesy things than in French, because I'm less self conscious.
